Unfortunately, I am completely at a loss as to how I can resolve this issue and was hoping that you might have some suggestions.

I checked the device manager on the second PC and could not find the microscope anywhere. Normally a message pops up saying that a new device has been found but this did not occur. I also tried plugging the microscope into a different PC. I next decided to uninstall and reinstall the driver and software, but when I try to run the USB microscope driver from the install CD, it gives a message saying "no find match device, please insert camera first." I tried looking under the PC's device manager but could not find the microscope anywhere. In Windows 8, swipe up from the bottom, or right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose 'All Apps' -> swipe or scroll right and choose 'Control Panel' (under Windows System section) -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager. Despite MicroCapture not recognizing the device is inserted into the USB port, the LED's on the microscope work fine and I have tried inserting other devices into the same port with no issues, so I am pretty sure it is not an issue with the port. In Windows 11, Windows 10 & Windows 8.1, right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager. I tried restarting MicroCapture and it gave the message "No device detected, please connect your microscope directly to your PC USP port." I tried inserting the microscope into another USB port and had the same issue. Everything appeared to work fine for the first 10-15 seconds but then the image just went black. I had the microscope connected to my PC and opened MicroCapture.

I had purchased your "USB Microscope - 5MP interpolated 220x magnification / 8 LEDs" (product ID 636) a while back and it has worked fine up until this point.
